Best of 2023

2023 was a year of growing -- we started with a garden in our front yard & home-made grow room in the basement, only having 14 five gallon buckets and some fabric bags. We had no idea what we liked to grow, what we liked to eat, or what it took to make our dream actually happen.

Not shown: 2 lemon and 3 lime trees that are barely hanging on; lots of corn that did not produce; squash bugs destroying pumpkin plants; angerly pulling up the dead vines of the pumpkin plants and my beloved cucumber plants; Japanese beetles that never went away and ate my rose bush three separate times.

All in all, our first season was such a wonderful experience. Every time we went into the garden, we learned new lessons. I can't wait to share 2024 with all of you!
